Course Description:
Advanced acupuncture techniques to treat Mental Disorders based on the Ling Shu and Su Wen. This course offers an understanding of the pathology, symptomology and treatment of mental disorders and includes valuable advanced needling techniques and many extraordinary points to aid in treatment. Approved for 3 CEUs/PDAs.

Rachel Toomim, A. P., is a Florida licensed Acupuncture Physician, who has practiced acupuncture over twenty seven years. She has served on the board of the AAAOM, and as NADA Vice President and Training Chair
In addition to being a Registered NADA trainer, she has served as a Consultant to Drug Court Programs throughout the country. She is a recipient of the Chief Justice's Commendation from the Florida Supreme Court, as Director of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit Drug Courts. In fourteen years of working with the criminal justice system, she has trained judges, prosecutors, public defenders, correctional officers and treatment professionals, expanding their understanding of addiction and recovery. She has educated medical professionals from a wide variety of health specializations in the use of the NADA protocol.
